Donations on Donairo are voluntary and considered final once processed. By donating, you acknowledge that donations are not purchases and are not guaranteed to be refundable.

If you believe a refund is warranted (e.g. duplicate charge, unauthorized transaction), please contact us at support@donairo.com with your donation reference ID. Refund requests are reviewed on a case-by-case basis.

Approved refunds are processed through PayPal and typically take 5–10 business days to appear on your statement.

*: Donairo's fee calculations follow PayPal's published country-specific processing rates as closely as possible. When a supporter opts to cover the fees, the coverage is a single standardized estimate per country, identical across all payment methods, for simplicity and a consistent supporter experience. Because PayPal prices payment methods differently, the estimate generally reflects the highest standard rate that could apply and may differ from PayPal's actual charge for a particular transaction. Separately, when a supporter's PayPal account is registered in a different country than the creator's, PayPal applies its own cross-border surcharge; this is deducted by PayPal from the creator's payout rather than added to the supporter's donation, so donation amounts remain predictable. Because PayPal may revise rates without prior notice to us, the net amount a creator receives may vary. Separately, if a donation is paid into the creator's PayPal account in a currency the account does not already hold, PayPal converts the funds into the account's primary holding currency at a rate that includes its own currency conversion spread above the market rate. Creators can avoid this conversion by enabling a matching-currency balance on their PayPal account.
